Let’s Do Brunch!

Nothing quite like starting your day with a hearty meal…and maybe even a mimosa or two! There are plenty of brunch options for Sandbridge visitors, but we’ve picked out some of our favorites to share with you all.

Blue Pete’s

Bayside brunch? Sign me up! Regularly referred to as the local’s secret, Blue Pete’s is located next to the water in Pungo.

Their brunch specials are not only limited to their incredible food—their delicious brunch cocktail specials great as well! Local seafood can be found all over the menu. Some of Blue Pete’s favorites include the brisket dip, hot honey chicken biscuit, and redneck bennie. Head on over to Blue Pete’s for brunch on Saturdays or Sundays between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

This restaurant is fun for the whole family. You and your friends or little ones will love exploring the beautiful Creekside property after a delectable meal. Be sure to say hi to the turtles in the creek when you visit!

 The Bee & The Biscuit

http://www.beebiscuit.com/

The Bee & The Biscuit is a charming original c.1919 cottage restaurant in the main intersection of Pungo. This peaceful slice of heaven is perfect for those in need of a little downtime and comfort food. The Bee & The Biscuit offers breakfast and lunch all day long, so the entire menu is up for grabs no matter what time of day you visit. A delicious variety of freshly made biscuits, benedicts, omelets, breakfast sweets, sandwiches, salads and seasonal specials await!

While the Bee & The Biscuit is busy on the weekends, the beautiful garden is a great spot to relax and enjoy a coffee, bloody mary, or mimosa. There are also games provided! Because the Bee & The Biscuit is a smaller venue, groups with over 7 guests will be split into multiple tables. There is a private room available to reserve for private events—visit the Bee and the Biscuit website for more.

The Bee & The Biscuit is open from 7:00am to 2:00pm Tuesday through Sunday but closed on Mondays.

To get to Redhead Bay Café, you’ll drive through the fields of green in southern Virginia Beach’s farm country. This café is situated deep in the heart of Pungo and offers mouthwatering dishes created with some of the best local produce and seafood. Wash down hearty breakfast dishes or giant sandwiches with a bloody mary or mimosa while hanging out on the covered porch.

Redhead Bay Café also specializes in event catering and private parties, so be sure to consider them if you want to enjoy their cuisine from your rental!

Brunch is offered every weekend, Thursday through Monday, from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The café is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
