Surf and Sound is comfortably furnished and the perfect spot for your waterminded vacation. Bring your boat and use the ramp provided to ease it into the canal waters. Or, just take advantage of the two kayaks, canoe and paddle boat provided to explore Back Bay. Check out all the wildlife from turtles and crabs to osprey and herons as well as migratory birds such as ducks and geese. Bring your poles, pick up some bait and kick back for a few hours fishing on the dock. The poolside grill makes cooking up your catch easy and the covered deck area allows a cool breeze while you’re dining outside in the fresh air.
After you’ve had fun on the canals, enjoy a cooling dip in your own private pool. The pool area features its own iPod dock and speaker plus a bar with sink for meal prep and a mini-fridge to keep cool beverages easily accessible. The kids will enjoy pool volleyball and basketball and the many pool floats and pool toys, while the adults enjoy a friendly game of corn hole. For the very young, enjoy the large shady sandy area under the front deck with its play house, slide, and many sand toys. Gates on all decks create an enclosed playing area that makes Surf and Sound well-suited to families with young children.
Inside, you’ll enjoy an open great room with plenty of seating for family movie night and a wall of doors and windows to let in plenty of light and to allow in the lovely canal view. Downstairs, the kids will enjoy a Wii game system (bring your favorite games), along with family-friendly board games.
If the ocean is your thing, Surf and Sound is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Enjoy the sand and surf with beach chairs and boogie boards that are available.
Even your well-mannered and house-trained family dog is welcome at Surf and Sound!
